CGWP Seminars - Fall 2007
The CGWP Seminars are an opportunity for a diverse collection of participants interested in gravitational wave astronomy to communicate on a weekly basis in a casual, informal setting. The intent of these weekly meetings is to foster research of a truly interdisciplinary character linking the highest caliber astrophysics, gravitational wave physics and experimental gravitational wave detection in the pursuit of the scientific understanding of gravity and the development of gravitational wave observations as a tool of observational astronomy. Groups from across the country join in this weekly phone conference consisting of a short (approximately 30-40 minutes) presentation, with the intent to inspire discussion for the rest of the hour. If you are interested in participating, or would like to recommend a speaker, contact or . If you are interested in receiving notice of the seminars you can subscribe to the mailing list.
